“MAKEGUMI” is the opening theme of the Miyakawa-ke no kūfuku anime, and the A side of MAKEGUMI. It is performed by Miyakawa Hinata (Shimagata Maina) and Miyakawa Hikage (川崎琴). The title is the romanization of 負け組 and translates to “losers”, describing the main characters of Miyakawa-ke no kūfuku, contrasting with the opening theme “KACHIGUMI”, which translates to “winners”, describing the main characters of Lucky Star.
